Felipa D. Gomez, age 88, of Corpus Christi, TX, passed away on June 13, 2021. She was born in Wharton, TX on May 1, 1933.

Felipa had a passion for gardening, sewing, cooking and caring for her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ignacio Gomez and son, Carlos Gomez.

Felipa is survived by her children, Guadalupe Castaneda, David (Irene) Gomez, Sylvia (Roy) Rojas, Ignacio Jr. (Mamie) Gomez, Andy (Marty) Gomez, Olga Jaillette, Amanda (Juan) Castillo; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 starting at 5:00 pm followed by Rosary at 7:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
