Fidel G. Garcia, age 81, of Corpus Christi, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 10, 2014, surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was born on September 10, 1933 to his parents, Juan and Elisa Garcia.
Fidel is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Elisa Garcia; two brothers, Gilberto Garcia and Alfredo Garcia; and one sister, Linda Soliz.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years, Olga Garcia; two sons, Gilbert (Christine) Garcia, Juan (Marta) Garcia; grandson, Jacob (Kim) Garcia; four granddaughters, Sarah, Lori, and Elisa Garcia, and Lisa Mejia; five great-granddaughters, Michelle, Aaliyah, Amber, Leah, and Khandi; two great-great-grandsons, Andrew and Liam; two sisters, Lucy (Raul) Garcia and Anita (Joe) Benavides; and one brother, Robert (Rosalinda) Garcia.
Visitation will held on Monday, October 13, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Chapel Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
