Flavio Garcia Sr.

He was a great loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. He enjoyed spending time with his family for any reason that could be celebrated whether it be holidays, birthdays, accomplishments, or simply just because.

Mr. Garcia, worked for Block Distributing Co. then proceeded to work at Braniff Airline. Lastly, he was a self-employed trucker.

Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Delia Salinas Garcia (2001); his daughter, Iris Garcia (1978); his sister, Maria Flores; brothers Efrain Garcia and Jose Roberto Garcia.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his children that he was so proud of, daughters, Irasema Odette Hernandez (Emilio), Iris Ingrid Garcia Torres (Jacob) and his two sons, Flavio Garcia, Jr. (Rose) and Fermin Garcia; grandchildren, Alyssa Enette Hernandez, Allena Evette Hernandez, Victoria Haley Torres, Joshua Quinn Torres, Fermin Anthony Garcia and Cody Perez; his siblings, Gloria Chapa, Yolanda Cantu, Noe F. Garcia, Rosabel Hinojosa, Israel Garcia, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Service will be at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
