Gabriel graduated from Miller High School in 1982. He joined the Army in 1982-1985. He served as a medic at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky and after that joined the Texas Army National Guard, attaining the Rank of E-4.
He had a passion for reading, theatre, nature trails and walks on the beach.
Gabriel worked in hotels, restaurants, hospitals and nursing homes. His humbleness and kindness was evident everywhere he went, leaving lasting impressions in many hearts.
He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Jaime (the late Jose Jaime), his brother, Joseph Jaime, half-sister, Stacy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Funeraria del Angel-Memorial Holly, from 5 to 9 pm with a prayer service at 6 pm. Burial will be on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 11 am.
