Gertrude E. Pfeffer Berger, 97, passed away May 13, 2015 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born October 26, 1917 in Camden, New Jersey where she graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. Gertrude was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She lived in Audubon, New Jersey for many years prior to retiring to Southampton, New Jersey.
She was preceded in death by seven siblings and her husband of 68 years, Thomas C. Berger Jr. Survivors include her son, Thomas C. Berger, III of Corpus Christi, Texas; two granddaughters, Valeria Berger of Portland, Oregon and Melanie Berger of New York, New York and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, New Jersey at 1:30 pm on Thursday, May 21, 2015 with interment to follow.
