He is preceded in death by his parents; Gilbert Sr. and Rosa L. Cruz, 2 brothers; Reynaldo Cruz and Robert Cruz, sister; Margaret Villegas.
He is survived by his wife; Mary C. Cruz, 3 sons; John Gilbert Cruz, Michael Edward (Leticia) Cruz, Mark Anthony Cruz, 3 daughters; Catherine (Pedro) Meza, Patricia Ann (Alan) Arnold, Yvonne (Rudy) Rivas, 1 step daughter; Lisette Ann (Sarah) Medina, 19 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, 3 brothers, 5 sisters, and numerous nephews and nieces.
A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. that same evening. Services will conclude in the chapel.
