Gloria D Cruz

Gloria Diaz Cruz, age 68, passed away at a Corpus Christi Hospital on Thursday, February 4, 2021. Gloria was born in Kingsville, Texas on August 7, 1952 to Enrique V. Diaz and Eufracia M. Diaz. Gloria was a retired nurse and did volunteer work at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Maria Isabel Barrera and grandson, Jeremiah Guevara. She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Richard Cruz of Corpus Christi, Texas, one son Christopher (Angelica) Guevara of Corpus Christi, Texas. Gloria was also survived by one brother, Miguel Diaz of Premont. Texas, two sisters Dominga (Oscar) Guerra of Odem, Texas and Nina (Carlos) Garcia from Corpus Christi, Texas. She is also survived by three granddaughters Isabella Guevara from Jacksonville, Florida, Alyssa and Sulema Alfaro, and one grandson Josiah Guevara from Corpus Christi, Texas, three nieces, Melissa (Gary) Bergeron from Georgetown, Texas, Ashley (Dave) Scialdo from Naples, Florida and Vanessa (Caleb) May from Premont, Texas and five great nephews.
