She is preceded in death, by her parents Emenencio R. Cabrera and Francisca Garza Cabrera; husband, Gregorio C. Salinas; siblings, Beatriz Gonzalez, Consuelo Soliz, Carolina Alaniz and Francisca “Chiquita” Cabrera.
She is survived by her children, Gregorio C. Salinas, Gloria (Joe) Sambrano, Gracie (David) Quintanilla, Gustavo Salinas, Gilbert (Rosa) Salinas, Gilda (Simon) Mata; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Luis (Lela) Cabrera and sister, Delfina (late Benito) Guzman.
Guadalupe was a devoted mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be Friday, October 17, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
