He was preceded in death by both parents.
Hector will be missed by everyone that knew him. He had a love of music and fishing.
Hector is survived by his wife, Sylvia Rivera; children, Christina Rivera, Frank Rivera, Armando Rivera, Mario Rivera, Hector Rivera, Jr., Edward Rivera, Manuel Garcia and Rocco Rivera; 28 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Hector will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel - Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415, followed by a vigil service and rosary at 7:00 PM.
