Mr. Garcia had an Industrial Education on radio, television, automobile electrical systems and heating & air-conditioning; as well as Hydrostatic transmissions. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council #7185 and was a Catechist educator.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Adelida Garcia; grandson, Eulogio Calderon Jr.; father, John Garcia and mother, Ramona Mancillas.
Mr. Garcia is survived by his loving family: son, Henry (Digna) Garcia Jr.; four daughters, Carmen (Sonny) Vela, Rosario (Juan) Martinez, Mary Esther Acosta, and Rose Maria Guerrero. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandkids. He will also be lovingly missed by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2020 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 13, 2020 at Our Lady of Pillar Catholic Church.
The Garcia Family would like to thank the Opus Care Hospice and the Memory Gardens staff for all the care and support given to Mr. Garcia and family. We would also like to give thanks to Justin Rodriguez, Eloy Rodriguez, and Loriann Vela for all the help and time they took to care for their grandpa.
