Henry Z. Martinez

Henry dedicated many years of his life to hard work and service. He retired as a foreman from both PPG and American Chrome & Chemical. He also proudly served the community through his work at the Janet F. Harte Public Library.

He was the beloved son of Carolina Z. Gomez and Fidencio Martinez. Henry is survived by his children: Efrain Martinez, Synthia Ruby Martinez, and Rachel Ann Pisarski (Eddie). He is also survived by his siblings: Mary Esther Kuehling, Maria Elena Martinez, Irma Martinez, Irene Tobar (Richard), Connie Nolte (Steven), Felipe Martinez (Cindy), Gilbert Martinez (Marcela), and Julio Martinez (Hope).

Henry leaves behind a legacy of love and family: 19 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel, 4901 Everhart Rd., on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will take place at Funeraria del Angel on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park.

Henry will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
