Herman Clarence Taylor, Jr., 68, passed away on November 29, 2011. He was born on January 4, 1943 in New Castle, Pennsylvania to Herman Clarence Taylor, Sr. and Katherine Suzanne Taylor. He retired after twenty-five years serving his country in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Tom and John Taylor.
Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years Mary Ruth Taylor; his son, John Taylor and wife Barbara; his daughter, Roxanne Wood and husband Daniel, all of Corpus Christi, Texas; seven grandchildren, Chris Taylor, Jordan McMinn and wife Jordan, Sean Taylor, Taylor Wood, Chelsea Wood, Jonathan Taylor, Sarah Taylor; and a sister, Gayle and husband Richard Gibson of Ohio.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors, 4901 Everhart Road.
