Thank you for being the best grandfather I could ever ask for. I’m so grateful for all the wonderful memories I have with you. I love you and will miss you so much.

My deepest condolences to the family during this time of bereavement. I will always remember Uncle Paul picking Tavara and I up from Tom Browne, dropping us off at the mall And making us laugh during the many nights I spent at your house. You will be missed

RJ and I are brothers, we just have different parents but share the same Father ( that is in heaven) . I am very sorry for your loss my dear friend. It's time for families to come together during this world crisis! I know this is a sad time but remember all the good times you had with your Dad and that will get you though this! I want to extend my sincere condolences to the family. I met Mr. Wade through his son RJ when I was in high school, many years ago. I remember his kindness, big smile, and soft-spoken nature. I could see the pride in his eyes as he’d listen to RJ tell me how much he was like him. RJ and I would always sing together and he got his love of singing from his Dad. Now Mr. Wade is singing with the angels, smile bigger than ever as he watches over his family from above. Rest In Peace.

Really hard to say goodbye to someone when their  memory is still with you...so to me he will always be around ,going to miss your presence old man and that cool demeanor.Would not change a thing on how I met you and how your thoughts helped me grow.....Love ya,

I want to extend my sincere condolences to Paul's family in this time of bereavement.  I've known Huey since growing up at St. John Baptist Church.  He was a member of the adult choir as well as the men's chorus.  I loved to hear him lead songs.  He sang with so much feeling it seemed to touch your soul.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           He was always ready to serve when he was called upon to do so.  I also sang in the choirs with his sister, Kay and his mother, Ms. Henry.  
I then became a part of the family through marriage, as he married Sharon, one of my best friends since we were 12 years old.  As his family grew I was there as well.  Even after relocating to Houston, I was still in close contact with Sharon, his daughter Tavara, sons RJ and Christopher.  I pray that God will give his immediate family, church family, and friends the strength to endure.  To know Paul was to love him and he will be dearly missed.
