Ignacio Guzman

Ignacio Guzman, 89, (Our Dad) was called to Heaven on July 29, 2015. Ignacio was born in El Aguaje, San Luis Potosi, Mexico on July 31, 1925 and has resided in Corpus Christi Texas. Since 1955, Ignacio worked with CK Paving, Hanna Construction until his retirement in 1987.

Our Dad is preceded in death by his wife, Irene Guzman; sons’, Ignacio, Jose and Jesus Guzman; grandsons’, Ricardo Jose and Juan Guzman; great-grandson, Dominic Lerma.

He is survived by his sons’, Erasmo (Helen) and Javier (Mary) Guzman; daughters’, Frances Jose, Irene (Jamie) Esquivel, Estela (Jorge) Guzman Rios, Silvia (Pat) Trevino and Irma Liscano. He also leaves behind to cherish his memories 6 sisters, 1 brother, daughters’-in-law, Rachel, Sylvia and Leonora Guzman; also 26 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Funeraria del Angel-549 Cheyenne with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
