Ines Jose Magallan

Ines graduated from Miller High School. He was married to the love of his life, Beatrice Salinas Magallan, on February 7, 1960. Ines was a hardworking man and worked since early childhood. He worked at Biel’s Grocery and Ayers bowling lane. He owned his own business and named it after himself: IJ Asphalt. Ines’ main career was at Corpus Christi Army Depot. He retired in 1993 after 26 years of working as an aircraft mechanic. He was a proud member of the Pan American Golf Association. He had a great passion for golf, and loved teaching people how to play the game. He was a loving husband, father, and an extraordinary grandfather.

Ines was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Magallan and Elena Lugo; Francis and Raul Gamez; son, Ines Jose Magallan Jr.; siblings, Mary Agullion, Sandy Butch, Jesus, and Jose Gamez.

Ines leaves his memories to his loving wife of 60 years, Beatrice Salinas Magallan; his children, Brenda (Perfecto) Rodriguez, Ana Marie (Noe) Lozano; his daughter in law, Mary Magallan; his grandchildren, Crystal, Joey (Crystal) III, and Joe Damien Magallan, Erica (Paul) Torres, Jennifer (Ramon) Longoria, Eric, Rhiannon, and Perfecto Rodriguez, Sabrina (Desirae) Navarro, Ashley (Jack) Rosenthal, and Ivana (Alex) Hernandez, Isabella and Noe Lozano III. Mercedes (Joel) Clark, Makayla and Mariah Navarro; his great-grandchildren, Abigail, Isaiah, and Sarinalynn Navarro, Landon and baby Rosenthal, Arabella Hernandez, Nathanial, Mercedes, Alexis, Jaiden, Jojo, Josiah, Trinity, and Destanee Magallan, Eric, June and Jasmine Rodriguez; his loving aunt: Elena Magallan; his siblings, Rose, Jose, Ester, Sarah, Nick, Paul, Raul Jr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
