Isabel Morin Cantu

Isabel Morin Cantu aged 70, of Corpus Christi,Texas, entered eternal rest on September 28, 2025. She was born in Camargo, Tamaulipas, Mexico on July 17th, 1955 to Agapito Morin Sr. and Maria De Los Angeles Leiva Morin.

Isabel was a dedicated homemaker and worked in embroidery for The Name Place. She also was a caretaker for the Corpus Christi State Hospital/School.

Isabel was a proud member of her church for over forty-five years. She loved time spent with family, camping, and traveling. She took pride in being a wonderful mother and grandmother. Isabel sat outside every day. She enjoyed tending to her plants and fruit trees, as well as accompanying her husband as he worked on the yard or car. Some of our fondest memories with Isabel included family reunions with all her brothers and sisters, our family trip to the Smoky Mountains, and Summers spent swimming. Nothing filled our hearts more than coming home to moms' homemade tortillas, menudo, carne guisada, and her chicken mole. Isabel enjoyed playing Phase 10, watching novelas, going to yard sales and finding treasures while out thrifting. A faithful woman of God, Isabel found great joy in simple things. Her heart was most content during her nightly routine of gathering her children in bed to share stories, laugh, and make everlasting memories together as a family. Isabel with be remembered for being the most loving mother, wife and sister, her dedication to the Lord was of utmost importance to her.

Isabel was preceded in eternal rest by her parents; Agapito Morin Sr., Maria De Los Angeles Leiva Morin, siblings; Agapito Morin Jr., Luciano Morin, Juan Morin, Blanca Estella Morin Alvarez, Marciano Morin, Rosa Elva Morin Huerta and Bertha Alicia Morin Beltran.

Left to cherish the memory of Isabel is her husband; Ricardo Cantu, children; Julissa C., Jacob C., Jezandra C., Jeremiah C., Josiah C., grandchildren; Julliette Aranda, Jonathon Aranda Jr.,Veyda Cantu, Vincent Cantu, Chorleigh Jade Cantu, Siblings; Ana Laura Morin Aguilar, Maria Hermalinda Morin Perez, Norma Linda Morin Hernandez and Enrique Morin.

A prayer service will occur Friday, October 3, 2025 at 7:00 PM, 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, TX 78405. A continued visitation will occur Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 9:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel Corpus Christi, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 12:00 PM, 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, TX 78405. A committal service will occur Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX. A reception will occur Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Corpus Christi, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405.
