Isidro M. Zamora

Isidro M. Zamora, 87 passed on June 28, 2011. He was born May 15, 1924 to Cresenciano Zamora and Trinidad Maldonado in Lytle, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 63 years, Elida A. Zamora and three brothers.

Mr. Zamora was a member of Solid Rock Church and American Federation of Government Employees. He was a veteran in the Army and served in WWII.

Survivors include his children; Isidro Zamora Jr. (Irma), Cresenciano Zamora (Gloria), Arturo J. Zamora, Pedro Zamora Sr. (Stella) and Luis A. Zamora Sr. (Loretta), his daughters; Dolores Zamora, Rosa Maria Garcia (Jose), Maria Elida Garza (Rene), and Margie Z. Fernandez (Josue). He also leaves behind one brother, Leon (Tina) Zamora, one sister, Anita Z. Perez, 26 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren, 1 great-great-great granddaughter and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m., at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Chapel Service will take place at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
