Janette L. Dunman

Janette was born to Mark and Airia Mcknight  Dec 21, 1925 in Sinton Tx.  She graduated from Solomon Coles. 

She is survived by sons, Milton Bradford(Hazel), Michael Bradford of Vallejo, Ca. She also leaves to cherish her memory; grandchildren Denise Bradford and Marchant Bradford. Six Great grandchildren. A host of nieces and a nephew. 

She was preceded in death by her sisters: Iola, Willie Edna, Charlotte, Maybel, and Mary.  Twin brothers James and John.

Janette worked as an Domestic Housemaid. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, mentor and confidant too many.  She will be dearly missed by all whom crossed her path in this life.  She was a student of the bible, who feared God and believed in the Power of Prayer. She was an active member at St John Baptist Church. The family would like to thank the Deacons of St John Baptist Church for all the visitations and prayers  Also thanks to the wonderful  caring stall at Pelican Pointe Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.  Also Christus Hospice and Palliative care.for comforting her as she transitioned from this world.       

A visitation for Janette will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78415, followed by a graveside service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
