
Jason Arik McMahon, 46, passed away in his sleep in Corpus Christi, TX on February 26, 2020. He was born in Pasadena, Texas on June 28, 1973. Jason graduated from Mary Carroll High School in 1992. He followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the Army serving as track mechanic for 6 years. His artistic talent became evident at an early age with numerous art awards throughout his Jr. and Sr. High school years in the Department of Defense schools in Germany and Fort Knox Kentucky. Jason was very skilled with his hands in many ways. He enjoyed entertaining his sons, nieces and nephews with ‘magic’ card tricks. He loved to create things and was skilled in woodworking; from hand carving art pieces to building furniture and exterior decks. He was also an avid reader and his recent hobby was creating artistic custom knives.
Jason is survived by his two sons Jonathan Tylor McMahon and Bailey Spenser McMahon, his mother Cindy McMahon, brother Joseph Brian (Roxanne) McMahon, nieces Abigail and Chelsea McMahon, nephews Nicholas, Andrew, Matthew, Gabriel and Daniel McMahon, aunt Susan (Terry) Hohmann, uncles Peter (Elizabeth) Brooner, Alan (Judy) McMahon, Tommy McMahon, and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father William Edward McMahon Jr., and younger brother Micah Sean McMahon.
His visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Memory Gardens Stateroom, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78415.
Memorial service will be held March 7, 2020 at 3:00 at First United Methodist Church 900 S. Shoreline Blvd. in the Chapel located on Water St. side of the church.
