For most of her life, Joan worked for Southwestern Bell Phone Company and Federal Government NAS Jacksonville General Services Administration Federal.
Joan is preceded in passing by her father, Joseph Howe; her mother, Laura Howe; her twin sister, Jean Dowless; and her great-grandson, Jayden Fausnight. She leaves her loving memories to her children, Jody (Ray) Boone, Tami (James) Adams, David Wilson, Leah (Tom) Williams, and Michael (Laurel) Wilson. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
