Joe Y. Colunga

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Guadalupe Colunga.

He was devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved playing bingo and was an outdoors man that enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. His memory will be cherished by all of those he loved.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years Rita L. Colunga; children Andrew Levine, Dora (Arnulfo) Gonzalez of Petronila, Texas, Dale Marie Cantu, Eva Mae Cantwell of Corpus Christi, Texas, Rita (Manuel) Garcia of Pinehurst, Texas, Deborah (Mark) Goren of San Antonio, Texas, Diana White of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Ysmael Colunga and Susie of Nevada; sisters Mary (Vincent) Ramirez, Natividad Longoria and Minga Espinoza of Corpus Christi,Texas; along with sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great- grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, June 13, 2011 with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Saint Vivian Catholic Church in Petronila, Texas. Interment will follow at the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
