Joe retired from Corpus Christi Army Depot as a journeyman/work leader. He also enjoyed music and being around his family and friends. He was currently working at Lowe’s.
He leaves behind his family to cherish his memories, his two daughters, Jaclyn Landa (Richard Thomas) and Jo-Ann Landa-Puga (Daniel); 4 grandchildren, Juliette Landa, Joseph Landa, Jaelyn Thomas and Van Thomas; one brother Johnny Landa (Angie) and three sisters, Lydia Lerma , Janie L. Rosas and Connie L. Cortez (Ruben); numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral Service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery with full Military Honors.
