Joe M. Sanchez

Joe M. Sanchez, 64, passed away Wednesday October 19, 2022 at his home with his family by his side. Joe was born June 16, 1958 in McKinney, Texas to Alcario and Estella Garza-Sanchez. Joe worked for Bentex for over 30 years. Joe was a devoted member and handyman of Resolute Church.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Estella Garza-Sanchez; his brothers, Reynaldo Ronnie and Rene Jose Sanchez. He is survived by his long life partner, Yolanda Hodges; his three children, Melanie (Jesse) Valdez; Joe M. Jr (Cathy) Sanchez, Jeremy J. Sanchez; 15 grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara (Allen) Sanchez-Rivera, Susana (Francisco) Sanchez-Rodriguez, Esther (David) Sanchez; and brother, Regino A. (Silvia) Sanchez; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews, family, friends that loved him very much.

A public visitation will occur Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service for Joe at 6:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 11:00 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
