He was a United States Army veteran and a gentle, humble and very easygoing man who loved his family, gardening and music. He will be dearly missed.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Manuel and Margarita Diaz; siblings, Ruben Diaz, Diana Flores (Max), Dahlia Reyna (Steven), and Ricardo Diaz (Beth); his children, Andrea Dreiling (John), and Gabriel Diaz (Elita). He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Marisela Luna, Zeke Luna, Luke Luna and 2 nieces and 5 nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel. A funeral service followed by military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel. Services will conclude in the chapel.
