Juan O. Cardona

Juan was born on June 23, 1945 to Maria and Eleno Cardona Sr., in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Juan was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Maria del Carmen Cardona, brothers; Jose and Martin Cardona and nephew Robby Moses.

Juan had a big heart for family and friends. One by one our heavenly chain continues to grow as our Lord has asked a son to join his parents to help watch over the family he leaves behind.

Juan is survived by daughter, Maria del Carmen Cardona (Severo); step-daughter, Lisa Cardona; grandson, Severo Mota, III; three step-grandchildren, Rogelio Andres Coronado, Johnny Joe Esparaza Jr., Alizae Renae Hernandez; companion of many years San Juanita Cardona; brothers and sisters, Eleno (Frances) Cardona, Jr., Antonia "Toni" Estrada, Jesusa "Susie" Moses, Gloria (Horacio) Quiroga, Crisolfa (Julian) Barrera, Guadalupe "Lupe" Cardona, Eva (Mike) Orem, Rudolfo "Rudy" Cardona, and numerous nieces , nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Funeraria del Angel Chapel, 549 Cheyenne Street. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church, 3901 Violet Road, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2011. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park
