Justin was born on July 11, 1981 in Corpus Christi, TX, to Jeff and Karen Strickland.
While growing up, he was a member of St Paul UCC and proudly achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
He graduated from Carroll HS, then went on to get his Computer Science degree from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. His entire career was within the Whataburger Corporate office.He started in IT, earned multiple promotions, and his most recent position was as a Business Manager.
In his spare time, Justin enjoyed the peace of being in the country, hunting, fishing, and video games.
Justin is survived by his parents, his sister Nannette Strickland of Austin, his dog Roxi, and an extended family and many friends whose lives were richer by knowing him.
There will be a visitation with the family on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 2:00-4:00pm at the Porter Loring North Mortuary, 2102 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio.
Justin's life and spirit will also be celebrated in a memorial service on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 2:00pm at Cage-Mills Funeral Home, 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, TX.
Memorial contributions in Justin's honor can be made to St Jude's, Driscoll Children's Hospital, or to the Boy Scouts.
