

Justin Miles Williams, age 84 went to his eternal rest on the wings of angels on February 14, 2014. He was born on January 27, 1930 in George West, Texas to Willard and Alma Williams. He served his country in the U.S. Army where he was assigned to protect the Panama Canal. After military service, Justin moved to Corpus Christi and was employed at ASARCO where he was known as “Tex” until his retirement in 1985.
Justin was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He was a loving husband and father. He was proud of his son and three daughters. Justin loved and adored all of his grandchildren and great-grandsons who always put a big smile on his face.
Justin was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Dorothy Henicke Williams, his parents, and all of his siblings: brother, Norman Lee, Howard, Cecil, Elwin, Willard, Charles, Johnny, Billy and sister Joyce Lindholm.
Justin is survived by son Glen (Missy) Williams, daughters Shirley (Robert) Williams Long, Brenda (Rusty) Collins and Sharon Guttridge. Grandchildren: Nathan (Christina) and Tracey Williams; Justin, Stephanie and Collin Long; Ariel, Tristan, and Aislin Collins; and Dalton and Dillon Guttridge. Great grandsons: Austin and Aiden Williams. He leaves behind his sisters-in-law, brothers- in- law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Cage Mills Funeral Directors, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm the same evening.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Monday, February, 17, 2014 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, February 17, 2014 at Gussetville Cemetery near George West, Texas.
