

Kent Howe, 66, of Corpus Christi, TX passed away on February 21, 2025. He was born at Spohn Hospital in Corpus on February 22, 1958, to his parents, Johnny Ray Howe and Margaret Ann Millican. Kent graduated from Carroll High School, and received his associate's degree from Del Mar College.
Kent went on to work as a landscaper and designer, eventually running the company he worked for. He later found the career that would give him great purpose, and he became a firefighter and paramedic. He would work for over 10 years with the Corpus Christi Fire Department, moving from station to station, and finally rising to the position of Firefighter 1, the driver of the truck. After retiring from the fire department from a back injury, he worked part-time as a private investigator. Eventually, he fully retired and spent his days at the beach, riding his bike, and BBQing.
He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Howe; mother, Margaret Millican; and brothers, Steve Howe and Mark Paulson.
He is survived by his children, Justin and Adam Howe; grandchild, Jackson Howe; and siblings, Diane Orta and Scott Howe.
A public visitation for Kent will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A committal and interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
