

Ladislado “Tanis” Molina Sr., 90, passed away December 18, 2015 in a local hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 29, 1924 to Santos Molina Sr. and Antonia De Los Santos Molina in San Pablo Ranch near Bruni, Texas.
Ladislado served in the U.S. Army during WWII in both the Pacific and European theaters from 1943-1945. He retired from Reynolds Metal Company after 25 years of service. He was married to Angela Almaguer for 69 years and together raised five children. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather known affectionately to all as “Guelo”. His lifelong passion was preserving and enjoying his heritage at the San Pablo Ranch. He loved hunting, barbequing, spending quality time with family and was quite the historian of the South Texas brush country as well as WWII.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Antonia Molina; brother, Santos Molina Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Almaguer Molina; sister, Marina Molina Perez; daughters, Yolanda Anderson (Kenneth, deceased), Sylvia Guerrero (Frank), Irma Gloria Kralik (David), and Elma Jimenez (Xavier); son, Ladislado Molina Jr.; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. the same evening.
A Chapel Service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
