Lillian Torres Helms

Lillian T. Helms was born to parents Manuel and Vilma Torres, in Corpus Christi, TX. She graduated from Ray High School and went on to receive a Bachelors Degree of Science from the University of Houston.

Lil is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Helms; parents, Manuel and Vilma Torres; her son, Randall (Nikki) Rivera; her step-children, Kevin (Brittany) Helms and Corie Henderson. She is also survived by her Granddaughter, Anniston Rivera; Step Grandchildren, Tristan, Collin, Gavin, Gage, and Harper; her sisters, Vilma (Hector) Holguin and Christina Torres; her brothers, Manuel (Elizabeth) Torres, Orlando (Tracey) Torres; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Lillian cherished her family and faith, riding her motorcycle, singing karaoke, playing tennis, and spending time with her dogs Harley & Daisy. She was an active Coastal Bend CASA Advocate, volunteering for numerous events around the city. Above all, Lillian enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Family will be receiving friends from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, Friday, March 12, 2021, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. During this time, a Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 am.
