She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother and sister-in-law, Jerome and Kathy Pyron and a granddaughter, Ashley Rene Smith.
Sally is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Wendell; her two sons, Brett Smith and his wife, Tab and Jeff Smith and his wife, Janet; her grandchildren, Ryan, Abby, Sara Beth, Connor, Jeffrey, Chris and Starlin Smith and three great-grandchildren.
Sally was a devoted wife to her husband who she lovingly referred to as her “boyfriend” throughout their marriage. She loved and sacrificed her family as a loving mother, wife and daughter.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd. on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Chapel service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 10:30 am. Entombment will be private.
