Lillie Marie Ramirez McDaniel, 65, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston, Texas on June 25, 2014. She was a resident of Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on September 9, 1948 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Tony and Ofelia Ramirez. Lillie married Wayne R. (Mac) McDaniel on July 6, 1973.
She enjoyed spending time visiting with family and playing with her grandchildren. Lillie also loved volunteering at Retama Manor Nursing Center where she was loved and respected by all the residents.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Tony Ramirez, Jr.
Lillie is survived by her husband, Wayne McDaniel, sons, Wayne (Amy) McDaniel II, Brian (Tracy) McDaniel, Joshua (JoAnn) McDaniel, Eric McDaniel, her parents, Tony and Ofelia Ramirez, brothers, Arnold and Richard Ramirez, 8 grandchildren, Katie, Hannah, Joseph, Matthew, Megan, James, Elizabeth, Alana, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be conducted on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church.
