Lisa graduated from Richard King High School in 1990. She went on to assist her parents in running and operating their family restaurant Chente’s in Alice, Texas.
In Lisa’s spare time, she often enjoyed the little things in life and spent most of her time with her beloved family. Some of the family’s fondest memories are of family vacations to Disney World and the zoo with Stone. Above all, Lisa enjoyed the presence of her family and friends, especially her beloved children, Kyle and Kayla.
Lisa is reunited with her paternal grandparents, Merced and Manuela Mendiola; and maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Esperanza Padia.
Lisa leaves her memories to her beloved children, Kyle and Kayla Carter; parents, Jose and Adelina Mendiola; siblings, Debora (John) Garcia and Brandon M. Mendiola; nephew, Eric Mendiola; and numerous extended family and friends.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Christus Spohn Shoreline and the caregivers who took care of Lisa during her final days.
Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 9 PM on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home; where a Holy Rosary will be recited that evening at 7 PM. A Funeral Celebration will begin at 10 AM on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
