Longino Peña Jaime, age 72, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 in Corpus Christi, Texas surrounded by his family. He was born to Ramon Raul and Anastacia Jaime in Falfurrias, Texas on November 27, 1949.
In 1968 he joined the US Army and served in Vietnam, after his service to Our Country he met and married the love of his life: Juanita Martinez who he was married to for 52 years and had three children. Among his favorite things to de were fishing with his family, talking about sports, gathering for family events, reading the Bible, attending church, working on puzzles, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and coloring with them. He sure loved his coffee and sneaking some candy when he was not suppose to have candy.
Left to cherish his loving memory are his wife: Juanita M. Jaime of 52 years of marriage, their children: Antonio M. (Rubina R. Rivera) Jaime, Monica Marie (Jose Aleman) Jaime, Paul E. (Roxana) Jaime, 10 grandchildren, siblings; Diamantina (Jose) Gaitan, Ramon (Gracie) Jaime, Ramona (Ray) Chavez, and his two beloved pets Lulu and Molly. He is preceded in death by his parents; Ramon Raul Jaime, Anastacia Jaime, step father: Jesse Lucio, brothers: Urbano Jaime and Javier Jaime.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Funeraria Del Angel Cheyenne from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm. Committal service will be at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Paul Jaime, Antonio Jaime, Antonio Jaime Jr., Rodrigo Campos, Alejandro Campos, Jose Aleman and Ray Chavez.
