He was married to Margarita on January 21, 1973 and the union between them created a family of eight horribly beautiful children.
He was stern and straight forward but had a huge heart. He was an Army Veteran and served his country proudly in Vietnam. He enjoyed watching sports, fishing, traveling and the Dallas Cowboys.
Lorenzo is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Margarita Briseño; his sons, Frankie and Christopher Briseño; his parents, Nicolas and Christina Briseño; brothers, Guadalupe and Giliberto Briseño; and sisters, Senaida Moya and Frances Martinez.
He is survived by his daughters; Julie (Frank) Loredo of San Antonio TX, Delilah Briseño of San Antonio TX; his sons, Santos Briseño of San Antonio TX, Erasmo (Noretta) Briseño, Rogelio (Danelle) Briseño of South Dakota and Lorenzo, Jr. (Kendra) Briseño of South Dakota. He also leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving grandchildren: Robert James, Brandy, Dixie, Edward, Lorena; Eric, Junne, Skye; Alric, Jayden, Frankie, Seven; Cristopher and Matthew, Gavin, Emma. His siblings, Christina Castillo of CA, Aurora Garcia of Papalote, Nicolas Briseño of Corpus Christi, Teresa Fresquez of Denver CO, Josie Villarreal of Corpus Christi, Gilbert Briseño of Corpus Christi, Albert Briseño of Houston, Miguel Briseño of Pasadena, Leonardo Briseño of Pasadena, and Jose Briseño of Pasadena; and numerous nieces, nephews that he adored and loved, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
