He was born on January 2, 1929 to Louis Taylor Sr. and Amy Landry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Taylor Sr. and Amy Landry.
Louis leaves behind his family to cherish his memories, his son, Kenneth Taylor (Rose Marie) from Corpus Christi, Tx.; 5 granddaughters: Starlett Moed (Charles) from Houston, Texas, Adriane Rochele Taylor, from San Antonio, Texas, Kennett Lynn Taylor from Corpus Christi, Texas, Tamika Johnson (Joe) from San Antonio, Tx., and Myisha Hyder from Houston, Texas. He also leaves behind 17 great grandchildren, sister, Theresa Jackson from Corpus Christi, Tx., numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 11, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, services to conclude at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Pauls United Methodist Church.
