

Lucille Elizabeth (Sturiale) Storey Arnold, was born on December 6, 1936 in Santa Teresa Di Riva in the province of Messina, Sicily to Salvatore (Sturiale) Storey and Maria Spadaro (Sturiale) Storey. Lucille came to the United States of America on July 11, 1949 with her family. Where they resided in Peoria, Illinois for about a year, before moving to Indianapolis, Indiana. Later in 1954 she was adopted by Charles and Rosa (Sturiale) Storey.
Lucille attended Shortridge High School with outside interest in fashion, modeling and beauty pageantry. At 16 years old Lucille represented the Broad Ripple Swimming Pool, where she was crowned “Queen of the Mermaids” for the First Indianapolis Parks’ Recreation Showcase before a crowd of nearly 5,000 people.
In 1954 Lucille met Lester Wayne Arnold and married later that summer. In 1960 they moved to Corpus Christi, TX, where they raised their two children, Ava Ann and Alan Avery.
Lucille is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Ava Ann Williams, father Salvatore (Sturiale) Storey, mother Maria Spadaro (Sturiale) Storey. Adopted father Charles (Sturiale) Storey, Adopted mother Rosa Coglitore (Sturiale) Storey, Grandfather Fortunato (Sturiale) Storey, Grandmother Domenica Coglitore (Sturiale) Storey, Brother-in-Laws Durward Collins, and Gordon Angerstien, Ex-husband Lester Wayne Arnold.
She leaves behind to treasure her memories, son Alan Avery (Patricia) Arnold, Son-in-Law Edd Williams, 4 grandsons Benjamin Domingue, John Michael (Kristi) Cruz, Alan Anthony Cruz, Eric Justin Arnold, Step granddaughter Venessa W. (Jon) Hamilton. 2 great grandsons Ian Michael Cruz, Spencer Alan Cruz, 3 step great-grandsons Diezel, Tonka and Torque Hamilton, 1 step great granddaughter Willow Hamilton. 3 sisters Mimi Collins, Silvia Woods, and Grace Angerstien, Brother-in-law Don Woods, and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
