Lucrecia G. Clark

Lucrecia “Luke” Clark passed away on March 20th, 2023 at the age of 82. She was born in Dallas, Texas on November 14th, 1940. She graduated from Sunset High School and received her Master’s in Education from A & I Kingsville in Kingsville, Texas. Lucrecia was married to James “Jimmy” Roy Clark, Jr.

She will be remembered for her passion for women’s rights, her love for dogs and being a member of the Red Hat Society, as well as her career in education. Lucrecia proudly taught in the Corpus Christi Independent School and Robstown Independent School Districts. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Erma Schaumluffel; father, George Grim and husband, James “Jimmy” Roy Clark, Jr.

Lucrecia is survived by her daughters, Deborah Ferguson, Raina Pegg, Cynthia Suniga, Jamie Collier and Melody Evans; grandchildren, John Howard, Jean Ferguson, James Clark, Reba Gandara, William Jordan, Liz Faultersack, Mikeal Suniga, Sherri Nichols, Joshua Collier, Eric Collier; brother, Gerold Grim and nephew, Gerold Grim, Jr.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, March 24th, 2023 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be on Saturday, March 25th at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
