Luis Garza entered into the loving arms of our Lord on March 24, 2026 at the tender age of 69. He was born on July 25, 1956 in Corpus Christi, Texas to parents, Alejandrina Muñiz and Hipolito Garza. He was a hardworking and devoted man who carried pride in his humble beginnings and the life he built through dedication, perseverance, and love for his family.
At the young age of eight, Luis began working alongside his family as a migrant worker, traveling beyond Texas to places such as Minnesota, Michigan and various places. Those early years shaped his strong work ethic and resilience. He often reflected on that time with grace, never forgetting where he came from and using those experiences as a foundation for the life he would later create.
Luis graduated from West Oso High School in 1975. He went on to build a career as a skilled carpenter, a trade he deeply loved. He took great pride in his work and found even greater joy in passing his knowledge down to his children and grandchildren, teaching them not only the craft but the value of hard work and self-reliance.
Luis was a strong-minded and spirited person. His teachings of dependability and tough grit are instilled in the ones he loved most. He lived his life's motto to never be afraid. He found peace and joy when he was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He was very proud of his family.

Great-grandchildren, Leona, Grayson, Jordan, Jayden, Maximus, and Jaxon; siblings, Gilbert, Rudy, Roland, Cecilia and Ray; and numerous nieces, nephews and lessons he taught, the traditions he created, and the many lives he touched.
