

Her journey will be guided on the wings of her littlest Angel Mia Bayardo, infant daughter of Abel and Zinnia Bayardo.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Ester Mondragon Segovia. Her brothers, Charles (Chale) , Tomas Ezekiel, Edward Sr., Manuel Segovia Jr.; his wife Beatrice Clark Segovia, daughter-in-law, Veronica Garza Bayardo; brother-in- laws, Jose Maldonado and Claudio Bustamante.
Lydia leaves behind her husband of 59 years, Pedro G. Bayardo. She raised six boys, Pete Jr., Ronnie, Rudy, Ricky, Chano and Abel. She then went back to school and earned her GED in 1985. Lydia than went to work for CCISD.
She was reluctant to leave behind her babies-her grandchildren of eight and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters, Gertrude (Trudy) Bustamante, Antonia (Tony) Maldonado and brother, Valentin (Vale) Segovia and a large family of nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Guadalupanas of Holy Family Parish. She was also a member of the Silver Sneakers at the YWCA.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited by Mrs. Maria Gomez at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly Chapel. Funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
