

Maclovio Adams, Jr. Our beloved brother, Maclovio Adams Jr., joined his parents in Heaven on March 6, 2017. Mack was born on August 27, 1950 to Maclovio and Rogelia Adams in Sinton, Texas. At a young age, the family moved to Corpus Christi and Mack excelled in sports. The highlight of his athletic endeavors was pitching in the Little League World Series in 1962 representing the Gulf Coast Little League Major All Stars. Upon graduation from W. B. Ray High School, Mack enlisted in the U. S. Air Force where he worked as a jet engine mechanic and rose to the rank of sergeant. After discharging from the U. S. Air Force, Mack began his career as a bus driver in San Antonio until his retirement and move back to Corpus Christi. The last year and a half of his life was spent at Corpus Christi Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Monica Adams and son, John of Ohio; Christina (Michael) Suffel and daughter, Gianna and son, Dominic of Michigan; Sisters, Gloria Almendarez, Grace (Kiko) Barrera, Linda (Patrick) Romero, Dolores (Tomas) Pena and Sandra Flores along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. A special, heartfelt “thank you” to his childhood and lifetime friends, Raul Vasquez, Richard Serna, Hector Garcia, Frank Reyna, Manuel Flores of Corpus Christi along with Tony Leal of San Antonio who were constantly at his side and who provided unbridled joy and laughter through their friendship. Also a “special thanks” to the nurses and staff at Corpus Christi Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Your care and kindness is greatly appreciated. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Veterans Land Board. Rosary will be recited followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2017 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private at a later date at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
