
She was born in Oklahoma City on August 17, 1931.
Margaret received a degree from University of Oklahoma in Art Design.
She married Charles Harris on August 29, 1953 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral in Oklahoma City, Ok.
Margaret was a devoted housewife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed .
She was a proud member of the Art and Gardening Communities. She had a passion for gardening and art. Margaret loved working in her yard and won the Yard of the Month. On the days she was not gardening , she greatly enjoyed creating beautiful artwork. She won several “Best in Show” awards.
Margaret is remembered of her talks of her political discussions, talking about family history and especially her love of all animals small and large.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Harris; Brothers, Alfred, Clarence and Alex Camp.
Margaret leaves her memories to be cherished by her children, Nancy J. Louthan (Len) of Baltimore, MD., Charles Harris, Jr. (Lucie) of Corpus Christi, Texas. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Emma Louthan (Joe Salamon) of Philadelphia, PA., Kelsey Louthan (Adam Kendall) of Greenbelt, MD., Kyle Harris (Crystal) and Austin Harris of Corpus Christi, Texas; great-grandchildren, Rose, Daisy, Julian and Mallory.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Harbour Hospice and the staff of Elan of Corpus Christi, Texas for their loving care. A private memorial with family will be set at a later date.
