Thank you all for joining us today to pay tribute to the life of Maria Milagro De Jesus, aka Milly. Your support is truly appreciated!
It is never easy to say goodbye, but we are all here because Milly meant so much to each and every one of us. It is hard to put into words how much Maria will be missed and what a positive impact she had on each of us.
Maria was born in St. Croix U.S.V.I. on January 17th, 1986 and departed this earth on November 9, 2023 at approximately 3:11pm at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. Maria was the fifth child of eight and grew up having a really close relationship with her siblings, family and friends.
Maria is survived by her husband, Angel Perdomo, her three wonderful daughters, Jaymeshia, Nailah and Jailenny; as well as her seven siblings.
I know we all are saddened by Maria’s passing and today, as we grieve together I want to highlight what made her so special. Maria worked at Nichol’s Pharmacy for four years where she was loved and adored by customers, management and her fellow co-workers. If I had to use just three words to describe Maria, they would be: Beloved, Best friend and Peacemaker. I am sure each of you could add lots more, as I know we all experienced Maria's love in a special way.
Milly was a beloved daughter, a wonderful loving mother, wife and sister. She was the Peacemaker of the family. She kept her entire family in harmony. Milly was a best friend and always there to console her loved ones. Her daughters were her life and in her last years, she shared this love and life with the Lord.
Maria gave her life to the Lord and became a Christian and a member of Christian Revival Center United Pentecostal Church. Like everyone else she encountered, she was loved by her church family. Maria loved serving the Lord and was devoted to serving the church as she did her family.
As Maria lay in a hospital bed she never lost faith in the Almighty. Even though others saw her as sick she found the will to continue serving her Lord and thanking Him for every day that she had the strength to preach his word to her nurses and over the doctors that took care of her. However, our God had a different purpose for Maria and called his Angel home. Even though her time here with us had to come to an end she fought, believed, and had faith all the way to the end.
Now that she is gone to meet her heavenly family she will continue to live on in our hearts and memories. Maria was special and her time here with us made a powerful impact on many of our lives!
YOU WILL TRULY BE MISSED and NEVER FORGOTTEN!!
REST IN ETERNAL PEACE MILLY!
WE LOVE YOU!
