Maria D. Nieto

She was married to the late, Manuel Salinas Nieto on February 1, 1967. Maria worked and retired with the CCISD Transportation for 27 years. She had a passion for traveling, painting and family gatherings.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Maria De La Luz Ramirez; husband Manuel Salinas Nieto, and her son, Arturo Rendon; and siblings, Matilde Ramirez, Jose Ramirez, Guadalupe Ramirez Ortiz, and Maura Ramirez Lara.

Maria is survived by Martha Rendon Scott (Daniel Perez, Jr.), Hilario Rendon, Jr. (Lucy), Anna Berta R. Basurto and Lucy R. Garcia; brother, Laurentino Ramirez; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 pm that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
