She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years,Rafael Velasquez Sr., her son, Ruben Velasquez, grandson, Rudy Velasquez Jr, son-in-law, Raymond S. Castillo Sr., granddaughter, Desiree Alexandria Velasquez, sister; Teresa Gonzalez, brother Jesus Rivera.

She is survived by her ten children. Her daughter, Anna Castillo, son, Ralph Jr. (Eva) Velasquez, son, Richard Sr. (Maria) Velasquez, son, Robert Sr. (Pat) Velasquez, daughter, Linda (Anthony Sr.) Guerrero, son, Rudy Velasquez Sr. (Melissa), son, Ray (Sandra) Velasquez, son, Rolando Sr. (Leticia), daughter, Nora Velasquez and daughter, Cynthia (Emily) Velasquez, 43 grandchildren 98 great-grandchildren, and 40 great- great grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the nurses from Opus and great-granddaughter, Aerys Martinez, for taking great care of our mother.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m until 9:00 p.m on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Funeraria Del Angel, 4901 Everhart Road with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m that same evening. A chapel service will on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
