Martha was born on July 31, 1948 in Saltillo, Mexico, to Jose and Margarita Ponce De Leon. She grew up in a large, loving family with three brothers and two sisters. Martha graduated from Mary Carroll High School in 1966. She worked as a secretary, then as a Court Manager for Judge Jose Longoria for over 30 years.
Martha is survived by her husband, Leonard V. Flores Jr.; daughters, Martha Chavez (Mark) and Shirley Rodriguez (Richard); sons, Leonard Flores III, Leonard Flores IV, and Mark Flores; mother, Margarita Ponce De Leon; and 11 grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends and family at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, October 17, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Chapel Service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
