Martin H. Sanchez

Martin was born on August 2, 1959, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the late Manuel and Guadalupe Sanchez. He was raised in Corpus Christi and was a proud graduate of Roy Miller High School. On April 16, 1982, he married the love of his life, Gina Aguas Sanchez. Together, they shared 43 years of marriage and raised four children.

Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Guadalupe Sanchez; his brothers, Manuel Sanchez, Moy Sanchez, and Miguel Sanchez; his nephew, Manuel David Sanchez; and his brother-in-law, Ben Garcia.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Gina Sanchez; his children, Martin G Sanchez (Liz), Matthew Sanchez (Ashley), Maricella Sanchez (fiancé, Roland Rivas), and Marisa Jimenez (Nathan); and his cherished grandchildren, Eric, Oliver, Aiden, and Charlotte. He is also survived by his brothers, Mario Sanchez (Connie) and Marin Sanchez (Lucia); his sisters, Sylvia Mejia, Delia Salinas, and Anna Sanchez; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who became family.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Funeraria del Angel, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Christ the King Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens.
