Mary Ann Guerra

Mary Ann Guerra entered Heaven on January 29, 2025, at the age of 95 after a brave battle with cancer. She was a lifelong resident of Corpus Christi, Texas, and was born on March 13, 1929, to parents Joe and Anita Olivares.

Mary Ann was an avid gardener whose yard was filled with the beauty and colors of God’s precious earth. She brought joy to the lives of everyone she touched. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mary Ann has joined her husband, Edward Guerra, and her parents, Joe and Anita Olivares in everlasting life. She was surrounded by three generations of family at the time of her passing. A devoted wife and mother, Mary Ann is survived by her daughters, Alicia and Elaine (Gerald); sons, Edward Jr. and Ernie (Susan); as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 11:30 AM on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A Holy Rosary and Celebration of Life will begin at 12 PM that same afternoon at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Rite of Committal and Inurnment will follow at 2 PM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery. The Guerra family will be hosting a Reception Gathering at 2:45 PM, following the inurnment, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Event Room.
