Mary Hill

The world lost a beloved mother, Mary De Jesus Ybarra Hill on January 13, 2024. Mary struggled with her health these past few months, but that never stopped her from giving out the best hugs or calling to check up on her loved ones. In her final hours she was surrounded by her family.

Mary was born at the Corpus Christi Naval Base on April 28, 1955. She valued and cherished everything she learned from her parents Eluterio and Esperanza Ybarra. She dedicated 18 years as an ER Clerk and a Medical Office Specialist at Driscoll Children's Hospital. Her colleagues knew her for her kind soul and her willingness to help others. She always filled a room with her beautiful laughs. She was a devoted Cowboys fan and loved family get togethers. She enjoyed connecting with her church family, and her husband, writing recipes, and she would never leave the house without her red lipstick.

She leaves behind her soul mate, Richard Hill and their three children; Jesiell Hill (Erin Garza), Ryan Hill (Jennifer Hill), and Zoe Hill. She is survived by her sister Gracie Cuellar and is preceded in death by her brothers; Rudy Ybarra, Eluterio Ybarra, Luis Ybarra and both parents; Eluterio and Esperanza Ybarra.

She loved being a grandma, she was known as "Pretty Grandma" to her 7 grand children and beginning to create beautiful memories with her 6 great grandchildren.
