Mary Rose Tatum taught her friends and family many things. She taught us the art of being well dressed. She taught us the art of keeping a clean home. Most importantly, Mary taught us how to use our hearts to the fullest.
Mary was born on June 19, 1926 to Dominic Tristaino and Victoria Tristaino Vittorini in Manaca, Pennsylvania. Shortly thereafter she and her family moved to Boston. She was a wonderful woman, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She met Donald, the love of her life during WWII and they married in 1946. They moved to Corpus Christi, where she began her career with H-E-B, then took a job at Borden and retired after 33 years. She was very proud of her work and dedication to Borden.
Those left to honor her memory are her daughter, Sandra Keat Boerner (husband, Ronald); granddaughter, Laura K. Swinney (husband, Billy); grandchildren, Davis C. Boenig and Carson Keat Boenig and many nieces and nephews in Boston and New Hampshire.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Tommy and her husband, Donald.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 12:30 PM with Holy Rosary being recited at 1:30 PM. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
